Length of Operation

Olive Crest has been providing services in Las Vegas for over 15 years. Olive Crest was originally founded in California in 1973.

Role in the DREAMR Project

Olive Crest will provide home based services to current and former foster youth who are pregnant or parenting. The home-based services will focus on parent training and support, as well as enhancing the bonding and attachment between parent and child. The Nurturing Parenting Program will be used as the foundation.

Olive Crest will also provide case management and care coordination, work with the team around implementation of the 3-5-7 model, and will assist the youth with overall household management, as well as educational and employment goals. To complement the home based services, Olive Crest will provide opportunities for interactive classes for parents and their children. The classes will focus on child development, health, safety, discipline and general parenting. Olive Crest will also provide opportunities for monthly get-togethers for the young parents and their children. Referrals and resources will also be provided as appropriate. DREAMR participants will be able to earn incentives for them and their children as they go through the program and complete goals and fulfill program expectations.
